Care Guide
Upcycled phone bags
With a damp cloth and gentle soap, wipe away any dirt or stain.
When not in use, keep straps loose instead of folding or rolling tightly.
Do not machine wash.
Avoid long exposure to sunlight as colours may fade.
Iron on low heat when necessary.
Satin scrunchies and headbands
Headbands (hand-wash only!)
Dos:
Only wash when necessary by soaking in cold or lukewarm sudsy water (never hot!) for about 3-4 minutes.
Rinse under running water while holding the scrunchie band in place to maintain its structure.
Lay flat over a clean towel to remove excess water then hang to dry in a well-ventilated area.
Dont’s:
Wash in hot water and in the washing machine as it could damage the fabric and the headband’s shape.
Scrub or twist aggressively while washing as it will lose its shape and weaken the fibres.
Dry under direct sunlight as the colours may fade.
Clip your items onto pegs as they can leave a mark on the fabric.

Oil stain removal
One thing about satin is that it will stain – super annoying, right? I find oil stains are most common when it comes to hair accessories as they’ll come in contact with your hair and sometimes skin. Here’s a general method you can follow on removing them. Be sure to act quick!
Once a fresh stain appears, press or blot on it with a paper towel to lift the oil away. Avoid rubbing as it’ll be harder to remove.
Gently massage some flour over the affected area and leave for about an hour before brushing off the excess.
Next, create a paste with powdered laundry detergent and water and let it sit in the stained area for 3-4 minutes.
Wash with warm water and dry using your preferred method.
